Finca El Puente is the family project of Marysabel Caballero and Moises Herrera. The husband and wife team lives and cultivates coffee together since 1996. Marysabel has coffee in her blood – her family has been growing it for four generations, ever since 1907. Moises entered the world of coffee as an employee of a Guatemalan coffee exporter. He visited Honduras in 1992 and bought a land with ideal conditions to produce high quality coffee. The joint efforts of Marysabel and Moises and the continuation of traditions have led them to the highest result – first place in Cup of Excellence Honduras three years ago. They are also very much involved in sharing their success and developing the local community. The soil, climate, and conditions in Honduras are the same as those of Guatemala, Nicaragua, or Costa Rica.
